We each got put in book club, and mine book was On My Honor. After we finished we made scripts, and then we made movies saying what we wrote on our scripts, and it included a summary about the book. Also we gave our ratings on the book, so my rated was 4 out of 5 stars. Enjoy!
Our class each got assigned a explorer [some people got same explore], and we were supposed to learn this explorers voyages, day he was born, when he died, who he sailed for, where he was from, and his big discovery. We then became experts on this explorer. After that we went and made 6 scripts that include all of these question, but we had to put theme in 6 different frames by using Narrable . Enjoy, and learn Amerigo Vespucci's greatest discovers, and here is one, he named America.
Research shows that kids who learn how to play football tend to be healthy, and physically fit adults, this proves that playing this sport can keep kids healthy. Youth sports can help kids not only learn the sport, but can teach them honesty and to fair play. These things could help kids be truthful and not cheat in games or in school. So if football were to be banned this would take away these advantages from kids playing tackle football. Tackle football can help kids have better sportsmanship, and teamwork. The teamwork can then help them later in life for example working for a business, because football is a team sport, c it requires every player to contribute his or her effort for success. Offensive linemen need to protect the QB so he can throw. They also open up holes for RB to run through. WR need to get open for the QB to throw to. Defensive players work together to get the QB, stop the run; stop the pass play, so the whole team works together to be successful. Its not that the star player can do it all, it requires every person’s effort. That is why it’s a sport where you learn to work together.
Tackle football doesn’t only teach kids sportsmanship, but it can help in kid’s school, by them having a better attitude, which results in better grades, and effort. Say after a big win you are all excited about the win, so you come to school you bring all that excitement with you, and be much happier during school. Schools also can give kids who play football scholarships, which can get kids get in schools that gives them education. If football was banned these kids who could only get a scholarship with football would not have the chance to get the school work that all kids need. Research shows that kids who are more active do better in school.
Some of the important physical skills that football can teach your kid include speed, balance, coordination, endurance, and strength. Football will develop these skills into your child, making your kid a very healthy kid. Research shows children who engaged in sports are known to not get sick as much, because they are fit and healthy this is important because every kid should be fit, and this is a way to do this. Also, your child will want to eat a nutritious diet. This is because your kid knows this can make him or her better on the football field. Results showed that playing football in a group had received health benefits to your kid by taking a lot of these things away or give them as in body fat, it can increases in muscle mass and also a lower level of blood pressure. If this were to be banned your kid would not want these things.
I challenge you to do this to someone you see whose parents will not let them play football. First go up to them and give them something that will hook them in to your statement. Second give them three reasons why they play. Third wrap it up with a big conclusion. Fourth see the satisfaction. After you do this you will be happy about what you did.
People write persuasive essays, because they want to make a statement or a claim, so people will change their minds about the issue that the person is talking about. Not only do people write persuasive essays to make a statement, but they also write them because they’re trying to teach others about their passion or issue. They also do this to share opinions with others; I mean they’re not writing this for them selves! Finally, people write these to make a change in the world, for example if someone is saying that they want to have a support breast cancer day, so that would mean that they’re trying to make a change by having more people support breast cancer. So think about it, if this were to be banned, after that happened we wouldn’t be able to make a claim, and teach others about this opinion, and with these essays people are able to tell people their opinion when they might not be able to socially.
Small Moment Introduction
Our teacher asked us to go back and revise our first published pieces of 4th grade, and we were supposed to look for compound sentences and dialogue rules. I mostly found places were I could make compound sentences, I also found run on sentences and some places to fix with the new dialogue I know. This assignment improved my piece greatly, so if you look at my old piece and compare it to my new piece you will see a huge difference.
